Diabetes
Diabetes is the most common endocrine disorder in America. Diabetes occurs when the pancreas stops producing insulin or the body stops responding to insulin properly.
Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas, an endocrine gland. Insulin transports glucose from the bloodstream into the actual blood cells. Glucose is the body’s most powerful source of energy.
When insulin is not produced, or the body stops responding, glucose builds up in the bloodstream.
Underproduction of insulin is classified as “Type 1” while resistance to insulin is called “Type 2” diabetes.
95% of diabetics have Type 2. The number of diabetics globally has tripled between 1980 and 2014.
Treatments for diabetes include insulin injections, diet changes, and medication. Many herbal remedies have been scientifically proven to reduce blood sugar and help regulate insulin.

Dream it.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
